Grain receiving facility (elevator) in the Volgograd region, Russia, is for sale. The facility is located in the port on the banks of the Volga, in an industrial area on the outskirts of the city, next to an oil depot and a poultry farm. In 2023, the asphalt access road to the facility was repaired, which allows for the delivery of agricultural products without entering the city limits.
Transport accessibility is excellent: the territory is located on the coast, the facility owns a berth for loading and unloading and further transportation of goods by ships along the Volga and the Caspian Sea. The distance to the nearest railway station is 100 km. The depth at the berthing net is 3.6-3.8 m, which allows for the unloading of vessels with a carrying capacity of up to 5,000 tons of the Volga-Don type.
The main assets of the enterprise are property complex, including warehouses, office buildings, a car repair shop building, a fire station, scales, a certified laboratory, fencing, etc.
Fixed assets: elevator equipment (sampler, grain loader, separator, etc.), weighing equipment (automatic scales, aerial lifts, etc.), motor transport (Mercedes-Benz-223237, GAZ-3507).
The enterprise has horizontal one-time storage facilities for 54 thousand tons of grain (according to the project, an increase to 70 thousand tons is possible).
A land plot of 195,268 m2 in ownership.
For logistical reasons the enterprise is convenient for shipping grain from the Volgograd region, oilseeds and legumes directly along the Volga and further along the Caspian Sea to the ports of Iran, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. The market of these countries for grain alone is 10 million tons, 1.5 million tons, 0.3 million tons, respectively, per year. And taking into account the activation of the international transport corridor (ITC) "North-South", the elevator fits perfectly into deliveries from Russia through Iran in transit to neighboring countries - the UAE, Afghanistan, Iraq, Qatar, Oman, India, Bangladesh and further to China. At the same time, ships with grain are sent via the Volga-Don shipping canal - the Azov, Black and Mediterranean seas - to Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon, Israel, Syria.
The territory of the enterprise is characterized by the presence of large free areas and networks, which makes it possible in the future to organize on the territory the processing of mustard, soybean, safflower oilseeds into oil, as well as wheat into flour or modified starch and gluten. In addition, according to the project, it is possible to build additional warehouses on the territory.
98% of the enterprise's shares are sold (2% belong to employees).
