Help with the catalog — Selling a share in a business

This section of the catalog contains offers for sale of a share in a business. That is, the section is intended for those users who want to invest in a business by purchasing a share in it. Each ad (lot) contains a short offer card. There is also a table view of the list - it is more convenient if you want to compare financial indicators. From the card or table list, you can go to individual pages of lot descriptions, where detailed information about them is published.

All ads here have been checked for compliance with the criteria of the REAB Consortium, and each ad has a broker who maintains it.

How to find the right ad in the catalog?

In addition to scrolling through the pages of the catalog section with ads, you can use filters - sets of search conditions for the section. You can search by text in the title or description of an ad, select the desired ads by country, industry, a specified range of financial indicators, tag, or status.

If you mark several countries in the country filter, ads will be found that match any of the marked countries. The same applies to tag and ad statuses.

If you mark several industries in the industry filter, ads will be found that match any of the marked industries. The industry tree forms a hierarchy - if you select a parent industry, all of its child industries will be marked.

If you set several different filters together (for example, country, industry, profit, label) - ads matching ALL specified conditions will be found.

Example:

Conditions specified:

  • name — deposit
  • country — Kyrgyzstan, Uganda
  • label — gold, coal

All published in the section will be found:

  • gold deposits in Uganda
  • coal deposits in Kyrgyzstan
  • coal deposits in Uganda
  • gold deposits in Kyrgyzstan

All specified filters are also shown at the top of the list of ads — From here you can delete them one by one if some filters are no longer needed.

You can sort the selected ads in several ways (the sorting option is located above the list of ads). Here you can also select the currency of the display and the type of the display (cards or table).

Currency selection is a very useful tool. All ads in the catalog are published with financial indicators in the currency of the original ad (for example, a Turkish business seller usually places an ad in Turkish lira or euros, and a Russian one in Russian rubles). But you can also select another currency for display. With this choice, the ad cards will show the second values for all financial indicators - in the display currency you selected. The currency conversion rate is set daily by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and is uploaded to the REAB website automatically. The selected display currency is remembered for all sections of the catalog until you change it.

Additional options for working with the catalog

If you register on the site — you will receive a number of additional useful options for more convenient work with the catalog:

  • you will be able to view full and detailed descriptions in ads;
  • you will be able to save ads that interest you in Favorites or add ads to comparison lists (no more than 5 lots in the list for each section of the catalog);
  • you will be able to save the most frequently used sets of filters (search conditions) and even subscribe to them. The site will automatically search the catalog every day and send you the results of this search by email. A very convenient feature!
  • and most importantly — you will receive your personal account on the website and will be able to enter into negotiations on the offer that interests you.

How to enter into a deal on the selected offer?

On a separate page of the ad there is a button “Start negotiations”. It will become active if you register on the site. Click this button — and a broker who works with this seller's lot will contact you, then in your personal account you will begin the path to a deal on this ad.

If you did not find what you were looking for in the catalog

If the catalog does not have a business in which you would like to buy a share, you can place your request in the REAB catalog. Such requests are published in the «Investors for Business» section — business sellers come there with their offers. To publish a request, you also need to register on the site. Everything that is published on the site must undergo preliminary verification.

If you are selling a share in the business yourself

You have two options, and we recommend using both:

  • You can place your ad in this section for potential investors. Register on the site and use the «Add ad» button under the list of lots in the catalog. You will be redirected to your personal account, to the page for adding your lot. A broker will contact you and take your ad into work. After checking and preparing it, it will be placed in the catalog.
  • You can also visit the section “Investors for Business” - perhaps there are already investors there who are looking for what you are offering. Go to the page of such a request and click the “Start Negotiations” button. You will be contacted by a broker who is working on this investor's request, and you will begin the path to a deal.
