Grain receiving facility (elevator) in the Volgograd region, Russia, is for sale. The facility is located in the port on the banks of the Volga, in an industrial area on the outskirts of the city, next to an oil depot and a poultry farm. In 2023, the asphalt access road to the facility was repaired, which allows for the delivery of agricultural products without entering the city limits.

Transport accessibility is excellent: the territory is located on the coast, the facility owns a berth for loading and unloading and further transportation of goods by ships along the Volga and the Caspian Sea. The distance to the nearest railway station is 100 km. The depth at the berthing net is 3.6-3.8 m, which allows for the unloading of vessels with a carrying capacity of up to 5,000 tons of the Volga-Don type.

For logistical reasons the enterprise is convenient for shipping grain from the Volgograd region, oilseeds and legumes directly along the Volga and further along the Caspian Sea to the ports of Iran, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. The market of these countries for grain alone is 10 million tons, 1.5 million tons, 0.3 million tons, respectively, per year. And taking into account the activation of the international transport corridor (ITC) "North-South", the elevator fits perfectly into deliveries from Russia through Iran in transit to neighboring countries - the UAE, Afghanistan, Iraq, Qatar, Oman, India, Bangladesh and further to China. At the same time, ships with grain are sent via the Volga-Don shipping canal - the Azov, Black and Mediterranean seas - to Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon, Israel, Syria.

The territory of the enterprise is characterized by the presence of large free areas and networks, which makes it possible in the future to organize on the territory the processing of mustard, soybean, safflower oilseeds into oil, as well as wheat into flour or modified starch and gluten. In addition, according to the project, it is possible to build additional warehouses on the territory.

Business activity and its prospects:

• When conducting an independent purchasing campaign for grain, legumes and oilseeds, the transshipment volume reached 60-70 thousand tons per year of wheat, barley, rye, mustard, chickpeas, corn, soybeans and safflower. On average, the enterprise accepts for storage and ships 60 thousand tons of grain per year. The average cost of these services is 600 rubles per ton. Thus, the enterprise earns an average of 36 million rubles per year. By forming milling lots on wheat, the enterprise earns an additional 12 million rubles.
• When conducting trade and purchasing activities, using the enterprise as a tool, earnings on a markup of at least 400 rubles on 60 thousand tons of agricultural products can amount to 24 million rubles. Income for the year can amount to 72 million rubles.
• Depending on the workload, general business expenses for the enterprise amounted to 10 to 12 million rubles per year.
• Projected income for 5 years before taxes: 300 million rubles.

98% of the enterprise's shares are sold (2% belong to employees).
