Coltan and Rare Earth Metals Deposit in Venezuela
Investment is being proposed for the extraction of coltan and other rare earth metals at a deposit in Venezuela. - This project is located in the state of Bolivar, in the southwestern part of the country (near the Orinoco River).
- The company holds the right to explore and mine minerals on a concession area of 7,651 hectares.
Geological surveys confirm the presence of the following minerals on the site, in quantities suitable for industrial production:
- coltan (columbite-tantalite, a valuable ore of niobium and tantalum)
- cassiterite
- zircon
- ilmenite
- gold

- a 70% stake in the company is offered for $4.4 million;
