Gold mine in the Mubende region of Uganda is for sale. The 447-acre (181-hectare) license area also contains diamonds and iron ore. Mineral exploration, small-scale mining, and geological surveying in the Mubende area have been known since the 1940s. Geological exploration has been conducted on the property, and an approved geological report is available.
- Projected gold reserves in the license area are 10,746 kg.
- Proven reserves are 7,512 kg (worth approximately $339.3 million at current prices).
