What has been done
- Seismic surveys (2D) have been conducted.
- Exploration well has been built.
- During construction, two productive gas horizons have been discovered. One at a depth of about 1400 m, the second at a depth of 2520 m.
- The lower, most promising horizon, with an abnormally high reservoir pressure of 400 atm.
- The estimated flow rate (estimated by the flare during drilling) is 250 thousand m3 of gas.
- The well is currently mothballed.
- The estimated capacity of 1 well: 7.5 million cubic meters per day.
Market assessment
The Republic of Khakassia has a strong need for gas: both as an end product and as a raw material for generating electricity. In particular, not far from the license area there is the Sayanogorsk Metallurgical Plant, which requires gasification.
It is also possible to use gas as fuel for gas piston power plants and to generate cheap electricity for mining farms.
In addition, there are several options for using the produced gas and condensate: production of low-octane gasoline, diesel fuel, propane-butane fraction, obtaining dry gas for gasification of populated areas, production of nitrogen fertilizers.
Investments
- 200 million rubles - well restoration
- 300 million rubles - construction of another well
- 30 million rubles - gas purification system for 2 wells
With expected gas volumes of 250,000 cubic meters per day and a market price of 8.3 per cubic meter (Gazprom's official price), the expected revenue per year is 747,000,000 rubles from one well.
With 5 wells in operation, the payback period for the asset is about 3 years.
