Pharmaceutical production in western Kazakhstan
A plant under construction for the production of medicinal products in the western part of the Republic of Kazakhstan is for sale. The plant is privately owned. Production area 4800 m2 with three production areas:
- production of infusion drugs — two bottling machines
- production of injectable drugs — one filling machine
- secondary packaging area for packaging medicines of any release form.
The readiness to launch the first section is 75%. It includes this secondary packaging area, microbiological and chemical laboratories, warehouse premises, sampling premises, offices and technical premises.
The project is very promising, since in Kazakhstan the market share of its own production is less than 20%, the rest are imported drugs. Also, local manufacturers have a priority right to conclude long-term contracts with CK Pharmacia for a period of 10 years for the purchase of medicines.
The plant is located on the territory of a free economic zone (FEZ), therefore there are large tax benefits, including the absence of VAT.
