Description
A coal mine is for sale with a subsoil use contract for the exploration and production of KZh grade coal. The mine is located in the Karaganda region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Coal reserves — more than 5 million tons.
Characteristics and underground infrastructure of the mine:
- The mine is “dry”, there is no need to have an internal drainage area, since all the water penetrating into the mine workings through cracks goes to the previously mined lower horizons of another mine
- Ventilation of mine workings is carried out by the main ventilation fan (VGP) VTSP-16 and VTS-15. Local ventilation fans SVM-6 are used to ventilate coal faces.
- On the territory of the mine there is a boiler room, heated with its own coal, to heat water for heaters that heat the air supplied to the mine workings in the winter.
- Personnel descend through an inclined shaft on foot; there is no elevator.
- The mine belongs to category 1 for gas, that is, the lowest and safest. Consequently, there is no need to purchase and install stationary equipment for monitoring and accounting for methane gas and carbon dioxide (CH4 and CO2) in mine workings.
- Lower elevation of mining operations is +220 meters.
- The mining plan and other necessary documents for underground work are available.
- The mine is mothballed, the asset holders have obligations to creditors. The amount of the sale of assets takes into account the costs of paying off accounts payable.
- The enterprise has the resources to expand production and increase the range of products.
