The dolerite deposit is situated in a geographically and economically advantageous location in the Irkutsk Region, Russian Federation. A valid subsoil use license is in place, valid until 2040.
Products
- Dolerite is used in architecture and for street paving, as well as in the manufacture of facing tiles, curbstones, paving stones, countertops, windowsills, fireplaces, etc.
- It can be used as a construction and facing material.
- It is suitable for producing memorial plaques, monuments, and memorial complexes.
- It features a dense, homogeneous structure and a black color; after polishing, the surface is free of spots and streaks.
Reserves
- Approved reserves stand at 1,984,000 m³ of dolerite and 640,000 m³ of overburden.
- If the extraction level is lowered, the deposit's reserves total 10,000,000 m³.
- The production cost is 17.5 rubles per tonne, while the market price starts at 3,500 rubles per tonne.
- Test results confirm suitability for use in roadbed construction.
- In terms of physical and mechanical properties, the crushed stone meets GOST 31436-2011 standards: crushing strength grade 1400, abrasion resistance grade I-I, and frost resistance grade F400.
Project Status and Infrastructure
- Full documentation package available. Fully prepared for extraction; the 2026 geological exploration and development plan has been approved.
- All geological, environmental, and other required reports have been submitted.
- Forest clearing operations have been completed.
- Overburden removal has been completed.
- The 10 km access road to the deposit is ready for operation and the passage of oversized machinery.
